LOSSES OF WHEAT AND STOCK.

Reports of losses of stock owing to floods are coming to hand from the Taieri district, and in many cases wheatstacks will be severely damaged.
The risk from floods at Outram and North Tftieri ; s still great, as it will take some weeks to repair the breaches in the protective banks.
