LASZLO SCHWARTZ.
: The eminent Hungarian violinist-com-poser will give a recital in the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall on Saturday evening. The season will be limited to one concert for which the box plans are now available at The Bristol. Included omoongst the items to be given by the artist will be Rado's unfinished symphony, "Rhapsodic Impromptu," written in condemnation of war. The composition, which is a ■ solo for. the violin, was written by one who himself lost his life in the Great War. Laszlo Schwartz will be assisted by Miss Etta Field, a New Zealand dramatic soprano. The songs on the programme will include "Children, Children," "Dreams," and "Israel," all of which were composed by Mr. Schwartz. "Israel" was accepted as the official song of the first Zionist convention held at New York, for which the famous Symphony Orchestra played the accompaniment. Miss Evelyn Hardy will preside at the piano at Saturdiy'j) recital,.
