LONDON, 7th May.
Mr. W. E. Guinness, Under-Seere-tary of State for War, replying in the House of Commons to a question whether Germany was evading the Treaty of Versailles in regard to the Army reductions, by the enlistment of a large armed police force, aaid that the Br*sh military advisers were satisfied that the provisions of the Treaty in regard to the surrender of armaments had been complied with. Germany was now effectively disarmed.
