HAWERA, This Day. The Waitangi, which is ashore at Patea, rests well up on a sandy bottom. She has two holes, well above the waterline. .Hopes' are entertained that the vessel can be refloated at next spring tides, about ten days fronv now. The cargo is of chaff, and is undamaged, and is being salvaged. A report that a •sailor was injured is without foundation.; . !.
