OUTLOOK VERY SERIOUS
BLENHEIM, This Day. There was from two to three feet of water all Viver the business area, of Blenheim at 12.30 p.m., and many shops are under water. Boats are being used to rescue residents in the lowlying ■ areas. The stop banks are -still holding, but the rivers are still rising, and rain continues. The outlook is very serious.
