LONDON, 6th May. ■ Obituary.—Sir -William Robertson Nicoll. editor, aged- 71 years.
Sir William Nicoll had been, editor of the "British Weekly" since 1886, of the "Bookman" since 1891, and of the "Expositor" since 1885. In his early days ho was-'a Free Church, minister.
