TOO BIG AN ADVANTAGE.

(Received 7th May, 8 a.m.)
* PERTH, This Day. At the annual inter-State Rowing Conference, ' New South Wales submitted a motion, proposing out of courtesy to New Zealand, to allow the Dominion to compete in inter-State races. This was defeated on the ground that the whole strength of the Dominion would be pitted against individual States. A request made on behalf of New Zealand for an Australian championship' to be rowed every two years, alternately in New Zealand and Australia, was rejected but the conference decided that any future races be left in the hands of the proposed Board of Management to control rowing in Australia. ■..■'■. ,
