LASZLO SCHWARTZ.
The eminent Hungarian violinistcomposer, Laszlo Schwartz, will give a recitalin the Concert Chamber of the, Town Hall next Saturday evening. The season will be limited to ,one night. Laszlo Schwartz has done much to acquaint music lovers of the world with the rustic beauty and poetry of Hungarian folk songs and dances,-and as-a violinist is classed with Joachim, Hubay, Rubinstein, and Ernst. The concert tour around the world, which he is completing now, is serving a double purpose. He not only gives concerts and lecture-recitals to introduce his own songs, but is also gathering material for a new musical novel. Miss Etta Field, New Zealand's well-known dramatic soprano, will sing a number of Laszlo Schwartz's numbers. Miss Evelyn Hardy will preside at the piano. The box plan will open at The Bristol on Wednesday.
