ROAD TRAGEDY
FATAL MOTOR SMASH.

NAPIER, This Day.
A fatal motor accident occurred neat Napier last evening, when David Boyd, a taxi-driver, was killed', and Percy Legrove, agent, suffered concussion of the brain. Miss Hindman, a visitor from Qisborne, was badly cut about,, and is suffering from shock, and twp other young ladies escaped serious in^ jury. Boyd evidently failed to' see a turn in the road, and smashed ,into • a, telegraph pole. He was killed outright^ Mr. Legrove and Miss Hindman are ii» hospital, and are doing well. -
