LONDON, sth May. following are the latest quotations for frozen and chilled meats :—

Sheep: Canterbury, light, BJd per lb: medium, 7jd; hea.vy, 6d. North Island, light, 7Jd; medium, 7Jd; heavy, 6}d. New Zealand owes, 6id. .Australian, firsts, 5Jd; seconds, sd; ewes, 4}d. Patagonian, light, s}d; heavy, ad; ewes, 4Jd.

Lambs: Canterbury, light, medium, IOJd ; heavy, 101 d; seconds, ,9|d. ■ Other- selecteds, both lid. North Island, firsts, 9}d; seconds, 9d. ' Patagonian, firsts, 9d; seconds, B}d. ■ Frozen Beef: Uruguay, fores, 2|d; hinds, 4}d. . ■ . - Chilled Beef: Argentine, fores, 4}d; hinds, 5Jd. Uruguay, fores, 2d; hinds, 4Jd. Other meats are unchanged in price.

The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from Its London office under date 4th May: "Wether market well* supplied. Ewe mutton has declined. Market well supplied with lamb, and supplies are likely to be heavy, near future. Beef market depressed.
