EXHIBITION OF ENGLISH ETCHINGS
The art of etching almost ranks in importance nowadays with the art of painting, . and word-wide interest is beine shown in the work of many notable artists who employ tho etcher's, needle. This week a unique opportunity is afforded to inspect the work of a large number of. leading English artists, for'about sixtr original etchings are to be exhibited at the Murray Puller Gallery, commencing to-morrow. Tho artists, inolude; many well-known names—W. Loe Hankev, R.E., R. 0.1., Edmund Blamfteld. R..E. "W. L. Wyllio. R.A.. C. H. R. Nevinson, Robert Spance, R.E., Percival Gaskell, R.E., Louis Orr, Stanley Wilson, J. H. Dowd, John Barclay, and others ; also the famous French artist L. Brouet. The exhibition will be open Wednesday morning *t 9 o'clock, and will continue for ten days. The Murray Fuller GaTTery is at 190, /'.■ambton quay, opposite the Midland 'Hotel.
