POLAND AGITATED
STRAIN OVER NEUTRAL ZONE
LITHUANIAN BELLIGERENCE.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.—C.OPTRIGHT.)
(REUTERS lELEORAM.) (Received 17th April, 1 p.m.) WARSAW, 16th' April. There is further trouble between Poland and Lithuania owing to the Lithuanian Premidr notifying the Council of the League of Nations that Lithuania intends to contest the decision of the Council in regard to the' PolisluLithuanian neutral zone before The Hague Arbitration Court, reserving the right"to declare war upon Poland from the beginning of May. The Polish Press is indignant, and accuses Lithuania of desiring at any cost to provoke war. It alleges tbat German instigation is behind the action, and also that there is, between Berlin and Konigsberg, a secret arms depot. The papers declare that Poland cannot now be asked to sign the statute now being prepared in Paris, giving Lithuania, sovereignty in Memel.
