ATTACK ON FRENCH OFFICER

PARIS, 15th'April. An unexplained attack was made by three soldiers on an officer in a train near Forte La Jouarvo. Bursting into a compartment, they afcruck an officer with an iron bar, then threw him out o£ the train. Ho was picked up dangerously injured. The police secured one assailant at Ponton. This others escaped from the train.
