OTAGO LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP

DUNEDIN, 14th April. In the Otago ladies' golf championship, the semi-finals resulted:—Mrs. Dodgshun (Otago) beat Mrs. Godby {Christchurch) by 1 up; Miss Dixon (Christchurch) beat Mrs. Spiers (Wellington), 2 up and 1 to play. In-- the final, Mrs. Dodgshun beat Miss Dixon, 3 up and 2 to play. Both ladies played good golf, especially with the wooden clubs. Miss Dixon failed in her short game.
