PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.
The leading picture at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres to-day is "The Kentucky Derby," in which the players included in the cast are the best procurable. The picture was directed by King Baggot, made famous as the director of "Human Hearts." Th» locale of the story is placed in Kentucky, New York, and on an;island off the coast of China. The story has an interesting plot, which hinges round the lives of a Kentucky colonel and his son and adopted daughter. The final climax is reached with the running of the Kentucy Derby. The second feature is "Arabia," in which the popular star Tom Mix plays the leading role v He changes places with a pnnce, goes through somo thrilling adventures in desert and city, and eventually wins his heart's desire. A welltrained horse plays a prominent part in the story, and the final climax is exciting. The supports are good, and spe-cially-selected music will be played at both theatres.
