CHARGE AGAINST A MAORI

OPOTIKI, I3th April. _ Rutene Topi, who was acquitted some time back on the charge of murdering Paul Zambucka at Motu River, was today committed for trial at the Supreme Court, Auckland, on a charge of unlawful carnal knowledge.
