INSURANCE CANCELLED
CATHOLIC INSTITUTIONS IN QUEBEC.

Owing to the large number of fires in Catholic institutions in Quebec Province, the fire insurance companies, have cancalled all policies upon the institutions, and have instituted new rates representing an increase of 35 to 40 per cent, increase in premium. .
Furthermore, insurance will be granted to such institutions hereafter only when the companies are satisfied that the buildings present good risks naturally, irrespective of the possibilities of incendiarism.
