BUTTER DULL, CHEESE DECLINING.
Messes. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having received' the following cable from their London house under date of tlie 12ti) April ;— "Butter: Market, dull. We quote New ..Zealand salted, 1725. Australian, good average quality, 160s. Danish, 188s. Finest Australian salted and unsalted, 1665. - "Cheese: Market declining. New Zealand, white. 12Ss; coloured, 1325." The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Company is advised from London, dated 13th April as follows:—"New Zealand Dairy Produce: Butter, 170s to 174s per cwt; market weak. Cheese: 124s to 132s per cwt."
