Announcements of additions to the forces of . paleologists now working in Central Asia and of intensive work in this section of the globe were made by the director of the Natural History Museum at the fifty-fourth annual meeting of trustees. Important discoveries .in. Central Asia have led to the appointment of two new collectors, and numerous fossils which are said to have bean unearthed have prompted the natural scientists to hope that within the present year more definite evidence may be obtained of a previous land connection between Asia. and North America.
