"GOODY WOODEN SHOES."
A musical playlet, "Goody Wooden. Shoes," was presented, at the Molesworth Street Methodist Schoolroom this week. The play was well produced, the lighting effects being a special feature, and those who took part gave every evidence of having been well trained. Selections played by an efficient orchestra, added to the pleasure of the entertainment. Miss Connie Harrison, as principal girl,, gave an excellent rendering-of several solos, including "A Dream of Delight." Miss Vera Collins was .excellently placed as the principal boy;" and Miss D. Tregantha gas ail excellent performance in the part of the witch. ''."&. special feature was the singing of a number of children, who were seen in-* number of Dutch episodes. Solos were given by Eona Taylor, Hope Flaws, and Unis Newport. Zeala Dixon and Colin Flaws sang a pleasing duet, "Little Mr. Baggy Britches." The-concert was a great success,- and will, be repeated tomorrow evening.''. '■ ";.
