TREMENDOUS UPROAR
SITTIN.G SUSPENDED FOR AN HOUR. (Eeceived 12th April, 10 a.m.) LONDON, llth April. When Mr. Stanley Baldwin. Chancellor of the Exchequer, moved that the House so into Supnlv in order to overcome last night's difficulty, Mr. G. Lanebury (Lab.) demanded that before agreeing to the motion they should get a satisfactory assurance in regard to exservice men. Mr. Baldwin moved the closure 'amid a tremendous uproar from the Labour benches, which the Leader, Mr. Ramsay Macdonald, was unable to, quell. The Speaker declared the motion carried. Labourites, singing the Red Flag, refused to allow business to nroceed, and the sitting was suspended for an hour.
