LONDON, 4th April.
Mr. Godfrey Isaacs states that the Marconi Company is ready to begin work on a high-power transmission station in the Midlands for direct communication ,with the Dominions, and is only awaiting Government. licenses.
The plant will cost between £2,000,000 and £3.000,000, and will be capable of transmitting 35,000 words an hour, maintaining, simultaneous contact with the six parts of the Empire.
