Tahiti arrived in the stream at Wellington at 2.55 p.m. yesterday from San Francisco, Papeete, and Rarotouga, three days ahead of schedule, and berthed at 4.50 o'clock at No. 1 south, Queen's Wharf. The Tahiti sailed from San Irancisco on the 16th March,, and arrived at Papeete on the morning of the 20th March. The vessel left Papeete the same day for Rarotonga, which was reached on tbo 28th March, and where the steamer loaded about 600 tons of fruit.
