SHORTT'S THEATRE

Apart from the two featured players, Mary Mil« 3 Minter and Tom Moore, the cast is one of exceptional strength. The second, feature is "Anna Ascends," in which Alice Brady plays the lead. The story is rich in love interest and sensational situations, and deals with the life in America of a Syrian girl who is seeking hoi fortune. She meets a.newspaper reporter with whom she falls in love, and they take part in several adventures amongst jewel smugglers. Miss Brady is supported by'a strong cast. Included in the programme are "Torcny s Feud," a traveVue, and an American_ Gazette. Suitable accompanying music, i 6 played by the orchestra.. '
