PARAMOUNT AND ARTCRAFT.

"Silver Wings," in which Mary Carr, the mother in "Over the Hill." playe the leading role, will be screened for the last time to-day at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres:. The story is an interesting one, in which the abnegation of a mother and the self-sacrifice of one of _ her sons to meet the extravagance and criminal actions of the elder brother of the family bring about trouble. The supporting programme is excellent. "BROADWAY ROSE." A rorhance of what is termed the most dangerous street in the world will head the new bill at the Paramount and Artcraft Theatres to-morrow. "Broadway Rose," in which popular Mac Murray plays the l»ad, is said to be one of the best staged dramas of the silver sheet during the past year. The cast !»■ exceptionally good, and includes many players with a fine reputation. Th« story, which opens with a polo match in New York at which many of America's society "lions" are present, deals -with the love of a millionaire's son for Rosalie Lawrence, a dancer. The plot is interesting and the situations exciting. A specially arranged prologue to "Broadway Rose", will be staged, during which bright and novel dancing by Miss Joyce Julian and Mis 6 Ngaire Phipson, pupils of the Misses Williams and' Gibbs School of Dancing, will .be a feature. The supporting films aro of excellent variety, and of more than usual interest. The musical scores at both theatres have been selected with the object of being "in tune" with the films shown.
