AN UP-TO-DATE CABARET
Wellington is to have a new cabaret. The promoters have taken over the rooms lately known as the Stafford Tea Rooms and it is their intention to run the cabaret on American lines—that i 3, dancing combined with refreshments.. Alterations of an extensive nature are beingl carried out and the opening will take,place on Wednesday night next. An ambitious scheme of decorations is boing carried out and a now spring floor is being put down by Hough and to. The. management has engaged a specially-imported jazz band, which will supply music each afternoon and evening. Tea will be supplied. in the afternoon, and patrons will be able to dance as they so desire. In the evening the main feature will be dancing, and refreshments of a -dainty description will also bo available. Tables, which may be reserved, are to be placed round the dancing: floor. Altogether, the cabaret should prove a big attraction, and the management anticipates record bu&iness right from the start. ' .
