BAWRA WOOL HOLDINGS.
The monthly statement of Bawra (the British' Australian Wool Realisation Association), writes our. London correspondent, shows the total number of bales in stock or afloat at the end of January to be 817,332. Australian . merino i umbered 49,723, and Australian crossbred «',734. There were 1852 bales of New Zealand i " rino still in stock or afloat, 105,959 bales of crossbred wool, 03,793 bales of sllpes, and 60,271 bales of scoured wool, making a total of 321,875 bales of New Zealand wool. Of these stocks one half of the Australian wool and the whole of the New Zealand wool belongs to tlie British Government. The other half, of the Australian wool belongs to. Bawra/ .
