LOWER HUTT SITTING.
The monthly sitting of the Lower Hutt Court yesterday was one of the briefest on record, and occupied only twenty minutes. Arthur Glennie, for riding a bicycle at night without a light was fined 10s and costs. R. R. Booth, for signing an enrolment form for the General Election, while under 21 years of age, was fined £2 and costs... Arising out of this case, ■_ Hector Charles Goss pleaded guilty to witnessing the signature without seeing- it written, and without hearing Booth declare that the signature was his or that he had signed it with his light name. He was fined £5 and costs. For failing to send his child to school, W. S. Hurcomb was fined 10s and costs.
