EMPRESS THEATRE.

Mies Norma Talmadge, in "Love's Redemption," will be finally seen to-day at the Empress Theatre. Her role in this drama ie a piquant, interesting character study, that of Ginger, a fascinating orphan of Jamaica, who meets and loves a- degenerate English boy. She risks all to save him. from tho mm into which he is slipping. Larry Semon, king of comediane, is featured in "A Pair of Kings," a high-speed comedy, full of irresistible humour. "DREAM STREET." An interesting announcement for music lovers is the coming of D. W. Griffith's latest production, "Dream Street," which will open at the Empress Theatre tomorrow. The picture is a dramatic comedy, and deals with the interesting and picturesque lives of characters out of two of_ Thomas ■ Burkes Limehouse stories. Gipsy Pair is a music hall dancer in Limehouse. There are two brothers devoted to each other. They are "Spike" and "Billie" M'Fadden. The former is the conqueror of the males with his fists and brawn while he has a golden baritone voice that wins the girls of the picturesque neighbourhood. The dual influence of good and evilare shown as these poetic people struggle through the fogs and mists of their narrow streets out into the sunshine of romance and love. Carol Dempster enacts the role of the music hall dancer, and the two boys are played by Ralph Graves as "Spike" and Chaxles Emmet Mack as "Billie" M'Fadden, The good influence directing the destinies of the neighbourhood.is impersonated by Tyronne Power, while the Evil one is portrayed by Morgan Wallace. A special musical score 'has been written for the pictures, and will he interpreted by Mr. L. D. Austin's orchestra. The box plan for the season is open at The Bristol.^
