GARAGE AND CAR DESTROYED
A* motor-car and garage at Ohariu Valley, belonging to Mr. S. Bryant, chairman of the Makara County Council,"was totally destroyed by fire about 2 atm. yesterday. The car was safely housed at 10 o'clock the .previous evening," but 'later the occupants of the adjoining house were awakened by oxplosions following the fire. The shed and car were almost totally destroyed.
