WANTED BY LABOUR.

Various ideas relating'to the establish ment of a Labour Press are',.cohtainet In remits drawn up for discussion at'ttu annual conference of the New Zealanc Labour Party at Easter. 1 " Daily Labour newspapers are advocated by the Palmerston North L.R.C., and the Canterbury Drivers' Union, while the Canterbury L.R.C. puts forward the following proposal:—"The establishment of a free Press maintained by the community but democraticalb controlled, so as to print all the relevant facts bearing on current events. ■ All comments on these events to - represent as many views as possible. These communal newspapers to be established,: first of all in the four main centres, and suppjied to households free of cost as a privilege of citizenship." .

. Auckland East Branch suggests :— "That where hostile and vicious misrepresentation of the party's policy appeal in any newspaper, the workers be urged to use their influence to ensure that the true facts of the position fire stated."
