TAUMARUNUI, 2nd March,
A distressing accident occurred at the Owhango railway yards, this afternoon, resulting in a girl named Rita Rossiter, aged 10 years, being killed, and her brother, 1 Frank Rossiter, aged 3 .years, injured." Tlie two children were watching some men trucking sheep, but were not noticed by the workmen. A truck was set in motion, and ; the. girl was jammed between' the truck and the cattle yards, and sustained injuries to her chest, from which she succumbed. The boy had his head crushed,' but is expected to recover.
