A successful hill-climbing competition was held by the Wellington Motor-cycle Club at Severn sweet! Island Bay, on Saturday afternoon. Results:—Solo Cars.—Southward (Indian), 3 points, 1; Thompson (Indian), 2 points, 2; Brae (Harley-Davidson), 1 point, 3. Sidecars.—Mangham (Harley-Davidson), Rodger? (Harley-Davidson), Leslie (HarleyDavidson) 3points each, dead heat, 1; Broe (Huxley-Davidson), 2 points, 4; Shaw (Indian), 1 point, 5. These points go ; towards the S. and R. Cup for week-end competition, -which can be won outright.
