I am a Returned Soldier, and on my discharge from the A.I.F. was suffering from nervous debility and adhesion to the stomach. I became attached to the Headquarters Staff of the Recruiting Movement, which necessitated me touring through the State with a recruiting film, and with the Memorial Band. This, of course, meant a considerable strain on my nerves, aa I had to address large audiences. On completion of this duty I resumed my former position with the Railway Department, but after being there three months a relapse made it necessary for me to go to Hospital, suffering from Nervous Exhaustion and Neurasthenia. On discbarge from Hospital I reported for duty at the Railways Department. I was medically examined and found to be unfit to resume my position. I then took up campaign work in connection with the Commonwealth War Savings Certificates, but this again resulted in a breakdown, and I had to return to Hospital. My weight was then only 8 stone 6 lbs. After several months' treatment I made no headway towards recovery, until a friend who was visiting me brought some ASPRO Tablets, and advised that I should try same. I took them at regular intervals for several weeks, and my health began to improve considerably. I commenced increasing weight, and also began to feel much stronger. My friends were remarking on the wonderful improvement in my health and appearance, and I can assure you my outlook on life became much brighter than before I took your tablets. Just prior to being discharged from Hospital I was suffering from Neuritis, and I began to feel I would never recover my health. I mentioned this to my medical officer, and informed him I had some ASPRO TABLETS. He advised me to keep taking them, which I did, and which resulted in a complete removal of the neurotic feeling. Shortly after this I was informed I could have my discharge. My weight is now 11 stone 3 lbs., and it seems wonderful to me that after ten months' illness I was permanently cured in two months.
