The final match of the M.C.C. team's tour opened at Newlands against Western Province. There was line weather and a good wicket. Western Province in the first innings made 118 (Commaille 35). Jnpp took three wickets for 24, Fender four for 31. Marylebono had five wickets down for 123 (Sandham 38j when, stumps wore drawn.
