MUSSOLINI FORESHADOWS EIGHTHOUR DAY.
<nmil!D PRE6S ASSOCIATION.— COPYBIQBT.3 (REUTSR'S TEI.EQRAM.) ROME, 25th February. Signor Mussolini, speaking at the headquarters of the Fascist trade unions, said the Government intended to keep in close touch with the organisation. He believed the Italian working classes supported the Government's reforms, which were inspired by a consideration of the wellbeing of the nation.
The Premier foreshadowed the adoption shortly of the eight-hour working day, together with other measures advantageous to the workers.
