The High Commissioner advises the Department of Agriculture, dated London 24th February, as follows:—"Manila market firm. Good business has been done. G grade afloat and February-April shipments sold at £37 10s per ton. J grade afloat, £35 15s; February-April shipments, £36. New Zealand fair grade met demand in sympathy with Manila. Small business reported at £31 to £31 10s per ton, according to position. Good-fair offered at £34; Highpoints, £33, with no buyers."
