The Wellington Croquet Championship tournament was continued yesterday, when the weather conditions and the state of the greens were by no means good. However, some close games were played. Results: —

Open Championship.—Mrs. Gardner beat Mrs. Lowery. 26-12; Mrs. Tregear beat Mrs. M'Dowell, 26-23; Mrs. Smith beat Mrs. Wickens, 26-11; Mrs. Watt beat Mrs. Wickens, 26-14.

Ladies' Associate Championship.—Mrs. Watt beat Mrs. Stone, 26-9; Mrs. Rigg beat Mrs. Feast, 26-9; Mrs. Vincent beat Mrs. Fuller, 26-16; Mrs. M'Dowell beat Mrs. Norris, 26-20; Mrs. Smith beat Mrs. Barry, 26-12. Handicap Singles.—Mrs. Pollock (8) beat Mrs. Cook (10), 19-17; Miss Kebbell (4) beat Mrs. Roberts (5), 19-13; Mrs. Hughes (7) beat Mrs. Pollock (8), 26-12; Mrs. Stone (3£) beat Mrs. Ryder (5), 21----18.
