* Many members Of the House of Representatives have already arrived in Wel•lington in view of the short session will open next Wednesday. The political situation is still vague; and considerable interest attaches to the Liberal caucus, which takes place on Monday. The Liberal leader, Mr. T. M. Wilford, ■will be entertained by his constituents at Lower Hutt this evening. Several ;promincnt members of the Liberal Party ; will attend, including Messrs. R.
