.TIMARU, 31st January. , The swimming conference decided to abolish the intermediate championship. The age for junior championships was increased to 16 years, the events to be boys' 440 yds, 220 yds, and 100 yds free style, and 150 yds breaststroke; girls, 220 yds, 100 yds, and 50yds free style, and 100 yds breaststroke.
