MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
TO TBI IDIIOB. Sir,—On page Bof yopr to-nieht'g issue I notice reference is made to the fact that the Wellington North Ratepayers' Association —which, by the;way, is a new organisation—is writing representatives of all the other ratepayers' associations to confer with them in connection with the forthcoming electionkIn view of the fact the many associations (excepting a couple) ?are affiliated with the Civic League, it is assumed the Wellington North association was not aware i of this; Incidentally I would mention it is gratifying to note the citizens are taking a keener interest in the welfare of their city. Apathy it dangerous— united action is essential.—l am, etc., .', RATEPAYER. 27th January.
