WATERSTDE WORKERS BAND.
On Sunday evening next at the Grand Opera House the Waterside WorkeTs' Band will give a recital. The band has been, successful in securing some talented artists from the New Musical English Comedy Company (hy~the, .courtesy of J.C Williamson, Ltd.). An excellent programme has been arranged, and the band items include the test selections _for the Dunedin Band Contest, "Ijohengrin' and "H Crociato in Egitto," the^overture "Morning, Nbdh, and Nijsht." and the march "The Cossack." With such a programme a record house is anticipated.
