The last sale in the North Island next month will be held in Wellington on 23rd February, The sales that follow will be held in Christchurch, Invercargill, liunedin, and Timaru, respectively. The March sale date for Wellington has not yet been fixed. For that to be held here on 23rd February the following is the order of sale and the quantities as allotted by the New Zealand Wool Committee:—

Murray, Roberts, and, Co 6,840 , Dalgsty and Co. 5,550 Wright, Stephenson, and Co. ... 1,500 Farmers' Distributing Co 4,080 Wairnrapa Farmers 2,640 Abraham and Williams 2,250 Loan and Mercantile 2,250 Levin and Co 6,840 Total 30,000 By the time the sale is held there will be a much greater amount of wool in store for sale than 30,000 bales. The idea of the Wool Committee is to avoid any overloading of the market. The prospects are good at the moment, and there are no disquieting signs observable in any section of the wool market."
