The New York Press comment* on Mr. Stanley Baldwin's indiscretion in the London interview. »> The "Times" «ays: "Mr. Baldwin appears to have suffered from the strain, of the necessity for being reserved and discreet while in this country. He gave vent to some inept remarks which should have being reserved for the private ear of Mr. Bonar Law. When Mr. Baldwin hears from some of pur pastoral Senators he will begin to understand -what he has done."
[Mr. Stanley Baldwin, Chancellor of the Exchequer, eaid in an interview on. his return from America regarding war debts that it had to be remembered that America, politically, was etill a country, people, the bulk of whom had no knowledge of international trade. The majority of Senators came from agricultural and pastoral communities.]
