DAVIES AND KERSHAW RETIRE

LONDON., 27th January. English Rugby football will suffer a severe loss by the retirement at the end of the season of the famous pair of international halves, Davies and Kershaw. The former intends to marry and relinquish the game, and the latter shortly joins, the battleship Barham. Davies has played in nineteen international.matches, and was only once on the losing side, when South 'Africa won in 1913.' Kershaw has played in thirteen international matches.. Both are playing against Ire* land on 10th February.
