CAPETOWN, 26th January. Rain caused the match at Eshowe between Marylebone and Zululan'd to be delayed; but it . cleared sufficiently to enable the match to go on. The pitch was fr.irly fast. Zululand in the first innings made 105 (Pearse 48). Macaulay took six wickets for 19. : When Marylebone had lost three wickets for 208 (Brown 64, Carr not out .62) the innings was declared closed. Zululand in the second innings'lost three wickets for 79. The match was drawn.
