EMPRESS THEATRE.
Several eminent screen stars, including Corinne Griffith, Holmes Herbert, Diana. Allen, Vincent Coleman, and others, appear in "Divorce Coupons," an absorbing society drama being shown at the Empress Theatre. A ■small-town girl of bewitching beauty, longing for city life and all that it may mean—excitement, fine clothes, intrigue —sells herself to a wealthy idler with a, past. Her object is to secure a divorce and alimony,, to build her future on his past. She reckons without love, however, and when the break comes, caused, by a letter written ,to a chum before the marriage, she, discovers that her plans for a graceful retirement from matrimony have gone awry. Despite her husband's willingness to provide her with evidence for a divorce, she makes a big sacrifice.to get him back, and succeeds in bringing about a happy reconciliation.
