EMPRESS THEATRE.

Allen, Vincent Coleman, and others, appear in "Divorce Coupons," an absorbing society drama being shown at the Empress Theatre. A ■small-town girl of bewitching beauty, longing for city life and all that it may mean—excitement, fine clothes, intrigue —sells herself to a wealthy idler with a, past. Her object is to secure a divorce and alimony,, to build her future on his past. She reckons without love, however, and when the break comes, caused, by a letter written ,to a chum before the marriage, she, discovers that her plans for a graceful retirement from matrimony have gone awry. Despite her husband's willingness to provide her with evidence for a divorce, she makes a big sacrifice.to get him back, and succeeds in bringing about a happy reconciliation.
