• Saturday's racing fixtures cT"the Evans Bay Yacht and Motor-boat Club were sailed in very calm weather, the light southerly breeze not holding sufficiently to. allow the geieral handicap race for yachts to be completed within the time limit. Consequently, this race, in which the yachts were sailed by lads under the age of sixteen, who are in the crews of the centre-boardsrs/ will be re-sailed at 1 a later date.. Only four boats started in the centreboard yacht race. The results, after ■handicap adjustments, are as under (handicaps and_ corrected finishing times being given id each case): —Cooee (scr), 5h 25m 16s, 1; Thelma (20m), 5h 29m 30s, 2; Mico (sm), 5h 38m 365, 3. Sylvia (9m) did not finish. The motor-boats fully appreciated the calm weather conditions. The results of the race as as follow (handicaps and corrected finishing times being given): — Swan (9ra), 4h 4m 3s, 1; Amokura (14m), 4h 4m Bs. 2; Kakaraki (14J,m), 4h 4m 48s. 3; Nikau (llm). 4h 4m 535, 4;' Resolution (scr), 4h 6m 225, 5: Foam (17m), 4h 9m Bs, 6. Taua. Dolphin, Black Cat, and Digger did not start.
