WANTON DESTRUCTION
A cable message yesterday stated lhat ,ahned men shot two engine-drivers outside Tralee station, one dead. A messa^fe on Monday stated that thirty armed rebels were responsible for despe'vate train-wrecking at Ardfert, County Kerry. They removed a line over a culvert, and held up the linesmen, so that they \\ere unable to warn the driver of a train from Limerick, which fell over the embankment. The driver and fireman were killed. The crime was followed by. the execution of four men under sentence of death at Tralee, who had been spared on the understanding that, the railway would, not be interfered with. -
The wrecking of railways and the burning of trains has been, proceeding for months.
