ISMET AGREES ON POINTS.

LAUSANNE, 10th January.

Good progress was made in many points. After an excellent speech by Lord Curzon, Ismet agreed not to expel the patriarchate, which will be allowedto remain as a purely religious institution and refrain from political activity. The Turks agreed to allow hostages .to return home and to exchange prisoners of war in equal numbers at the earliest opportunity. As tho Greek prisoners outnumber the Turks, the balance will be freed on the conclusion of peace.
